Breakfast Tips

Breakfast is an important meal. After a long night’s rest, breakfast replenishes the energy and nutrients needed to start the day. Breakfast should provide ¼ to 1/3 of your energy and nutrient needs for the day.

 

 

It is good to include cereals (choose one containing whole grains), milk and milk products, with a fruit or fruit juice as your breakfast. This will provide complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals.
