Nestlé Malaysia Employees Donate to Pakistan Flood Victims

Nestlé Sets Up Sixth ‘Nest’ in Rural Sabah

Moved by the plight of the flood victims in Pakistan, staff of Nestlé Malaysia joined their counterparts across Nestlé markets globally to raise funds for the survivors of the disaster. They pooled their resources and raised close to RM20,000 in cash. The Company matched this, and a total contribution of RM50,000 was transferred to The Centre where it will then be channelled to Nestlé Pakistan. Nestlé Pakistan will use all funds (collected both locally and globally) to strengthen their relief efforts. In addition, Nestlé Pakistan has provided 240,000 litres of water on a daily basis to those affected through bona fide relief organisations. To date, more than 9,000 families impacting 55,000 people have been provided with food packages including Nestlé products and other rations. The ongoing farmers and cattle health camps have established 70 such centres and have vaccinated 90,000 animals and treated more than 10,000.
