Celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship, the employees of Nestlé Malaysia recently partook in our very own “Nestlé Olympics” known as Nestlé Supermeet. The sporting event which occurs once every four years witnessed Nestlé employees from Malaysia and Singapore congregating to compete in a wide range of sports activities.
Nestlé Supermeet aims to encourage greater bonds between Nestlé employees as well as to inspire employees to lead fitter and healthier lifestyles. This year, as many as 22 sporting events were organised, including sports such as badminton, football, netball, sepak takraw, tennis, indoor games and athletics.
Over a thousand Nestlé athletes from 10 contingents across Malaysia and Singapore came together on the grounds of University of Malaya to compete for the Champion trophy. After three gruelling days of intense competition, the Nestlé Malaysia Head Office and Sales (HOU) Contingent emerged victorious, winning top honours and bringing home the trophy.
Another key highlight was the Nestlé OMEGA PLUS Fun Walk, where close to 500 Nestlé employees walked in solidarity to better heart health together with their friends and families. There were also an array of activities and prizes for children and adults alike at the Family Day Carnival.
