We are pleased to announce that Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad has won the coveted ‘Company of the Year Award’ at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club 2016 gala dinner organised by The Edge, the leading financial daily.
The Awards celebrates and honours Malaysia’s outstanding corporate performers. Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad was recognised for its strong, sustained and consistent financial performance as well as its Creating Shared Value efforts.
A special mention was made for our contribution in the area of Rural Development where we work with local farmers to produce quality and sustainable crop for the production of some of our products such as MAGGI Chilli Sauce and CERELAC.
Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad’s Managing Director, Alois Hofbauer, received the prestigious award from The Edge Media Group Publisher and Group CEO Ho Kay Tat, who presented the awards alongside OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad’s CEO Ong Eng Bin, Qatar Airways Country Manager for Malaysia and Brunei Datuk Muzammil Mohamad, and The Edge Malaysia editor-in-chief Azam Aris.
Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad was amongst 29 companies which received up to a total of 34 company awards recognising the performances of Malaysia’s biggest listed companies in terms of highest profit growth, return on equity and total shareholder returns (capital gains plus yield) over three years.
