How it all began...
Behind every successful product, there is a story. This is the story of MAGGI.
Towards the end of the 19th Century, Europe had its industrial revolution and women started working outside the home. With this arose the need for meals that were easy to prepare, but were just as nourishing and delicious. A brilliant businessman with milling experience, Julius Maggi worked on this need with food experts and technologists. The first product he invented was the "little MAGGI cube". Also known as the MAGGI stock or bouillon cube, it was an instant success and soon became a household name in Europe, Australia and Asia.
In Malaysia, MAGGI has since expanded over a hundred fold in its popularity and range. Known for its culinary heritage and expertise, MAGGI offers convenience, cooking ideas and a wide range of products for an even wider range of delicious and nutritious meals for the family. MAGGI and the local cuisine are no stranger to each other as MAGGI offers a tempting range, from Belacan Granules and Rendang Spice Mix to the famous 2-minute noodles.
