General [Rtd] Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Ghazali Seth was appointed as an Independent, Non-Executive Director of the Company on 6 January 1986. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. General [Rtd] Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Ghazali Seth is a retired General who has had an illustrious career with the Malaysian Armed Forces for nearly 36 years.

Currently he is also a director of ABN-AMRO Bank Berhad and Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Berhad.

He holds 10,000 shares in the Company, but has no conflict of interest with the Group, does not have any personal interest in any business arrangement involving the Group, has no family relationship with any other director and/or major shareholder of the Group and has not been convicted of any offence within the past 10 years other than traffic offences, if any. General [Rtd] Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Ghazali Seth has attended all 4 [four] meetings of the Board of Directors held for the financial year ended 31 December 2007.
