Peter Vogt
Managing Director of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad

Peter R. Vogt has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad effective 16 September 2009. He also assumes the post of region head for Nestlé Malaysia/Singapore.

A graduate of Switzerland’s University St. Gallen and the London School of Economics, Vogt has over 25 years of management experience with Nestlé; the bulk of which was spent in Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. During his last posting to Malaysia, Vogt was Marketing Division Manager, a position he held from 1990 to 1994.

From 1996 to 2005, Vogt was heading various Nestlé operations in Switzerland, Scandinavia and Germany, after which he was appointed President Director (CEO) of PT Nestlé Indonesia, the second largest food company in the country. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce while in Indonesia.
