Tan Sri Dato’ Ernst Zulliger was appointed as an Independent, Non-Executive Director of the Company on 30 November 1983. He is also a member of the Audit Committee. Tan Sri Dato’ Ernst Zulliger studied Commerce and Business Administration in Switzerland and has also attended the International Institute for Management Development [IMD], in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He has served the Nestlé group of companies worldwide for a remarkable 37 years and prior to his retirement, he was the Managing Director of the Company.

He does not own any shares in the Company, has no conflict of interest with the Group, does not have any personal interest in any business arrangement involving the Group, has no family relationship with any other director and/or major shareholder of the Group and has not been convicted of any offence within the past 10 years other than traffic offences, if any. Tan Sri Dato’ Ernst Zulliger has attended 2 [two] meetings of the Board of Directors held for the financial year ended 31 December 2007.
