Nestlé Chilled Dairy launched its improved NESTLÉ BLISS® Yogurt Drink which is added with a soluble dietary fibre called inulin. Inulin encourages the growth of good bacteria in our large intestines thereby resulting in better digestive health. Inulin has a number of health benefits. As a result, this dietary fibre is used as a prebiotic agent in foods to stimulate growth of good intestinal bacteria resulting in improved gut health.
The incorporation of inulin in the entire range of NESTLÉ BLISS® Yogurt Drink makes it the only product of its kind to be introduced in Malaysia.
“In addition to the benefits of inulin, we have reduced the added sugar content in NESTLÉ BLISS® Yogurt Drinks, to help Malaysians better manage their daily intake of total sugar. However, to maintain the same great taste, we have increased the real fruit juice content in our product,” said Sullivan O’Carroll, Managing Director, Nestlé Malaysia Berhad, at the launch.
