ARIFFIN BIN BURANUDEEN
Supply Chain Director
Ariffin Bin Buranudeen began his career with Nestlé Malaysia in 1980 as a Manufacturing Manager at the Petaling Jaya factory. Three years later he was appointed Assistant Logistics Manager, signaling the start to his career in supply chain and distribution. A graduate in Distribution Technology & Management from Cranfield, UK, Ariffin was later promoted to Central Factory Warehouse Manager, moving up to become Supply Chain Manager in 1994, with a brief stint in between as Regional Sales Manager at the Kuantan Branch.
In 1996, Ariffin took on an expatriate position at the Nestlé headquarters in Switzerland as Logistics Organiser, Nestec. Upon his return to Malaysia in 1998, he assumed the position of Director, Supply Chain & Exports. He again was seconded to the Swiss headquarters in 2001 to be the Pilot Market Representative under the GLOBE project. When he returned to Malaysia in 2003, he became Director, Customer Service & Supply Chain Development, and later in 2004 as Supply Chain Director, a position he holds until today.
