Growing from Within
As a management trainee, who started his career in Nestlé in the early 90s, Ganesan was initially surprised when he was sent to Kuala Selangor as a Sales Representative.
A finance graduate whose first job was an intern in the Banking industry, Ganesan expected a more glamorous position in Nestle.
However, as a true-blue fighter, Ganesan took it as a challenge to prove that he could achieve what he wanted when he decided to join Nestlé. From then on Ganesan proved his worth by taking all the development programs planned for him resulting in high performance. Within 6 years he managed to become Group Brand Manager with work exposure in different Brands. He was sent to undergo a 10-week Executive Development Program at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland in 2001, as a preparation for him to hold a key position in Nestlé. After 12 years in Nestlé, in 2003, Ganesan was promoted to become the first local Sales Director for Malaysia.
