After a series of memorable triathlon races that were held at five different locations nationwide, the POWERBAR® Triathlete of the Year Challenge 2008 finally came to an end.

Nor Juliana Ali and Ong Wei Xiang won the POWERBAR® Top University Duathlete 2008 title, after completing 3 series in the recent Malakoff University Duathlon Series (MUDS) in National University of Malaysia, University of Malaya and National Defense University of Malaysia (UPNM) respectively.

Malakoff University Duathlon Series 2008 is back with 3 legs that will be hosted by UKM (19 July), UM (26 July) and UPNM (2 August).

For the fourth year in running, POWERBAR® will once again be offering The POWERBAR® Triathlete of the Year Award Challenge 2008.

A record breaking sales of RM19,000 was achieved at the AmBank Kuala Lumpur International Marathon (KLIM) in Dataran Merdeka on 30 March 2008.

POWERBAR®, the global partner for Ironman events worldwide once again became the official energy bar and drink for Ironman Malaysia, which was held on 23 February 2008.

PowerBar Team Elite Program 2008/2009 was officially launched at Hilton Hotel, Petaling Jaya on the 18th of January 2008.
