Spending time with family is important and it is the key to happiness. However, this is missing in today’s modern and hectic lifestyle, as people are more involved and engrossed in their daily routines, work, activities or even gadgets, which means that they are spending less quality time with their families.
The nation's leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness company – Nestlé Malaysia – today announced an initiative that aims to bring family togetherness through tastier food and family bonding activities.
The main objective of the Hari Keluarga Malaysia Nestlé campaign is to enhance the quality of family life with tastier food, healthy and fun activities, thus encouraging Malaysians to rejoice family togetherness.
The campaign introduces the Bonanza Hari Keluarga Malaysia Nestlé contest that will run from 1st – 30th September 2013 where consumers can stand a chance to win prizes worth up to a total of RM2,600,000.
There are two tiers to the contest, one that offers consumers 600 daily prizes of attractive package vouchers of choice worth RM1,000; and there is also the Grand Finale where consumers go through an elimination challenge to win cash. For the latter, there will be twenty 1st prize winners who will walk away with up to RM100,000 cash each; five 2nd prize winners who will walk away with RM6,000 cash each; and five 3rd prize winners who will walk RM3,000 cash each.
To participate in the contest consumers are required to purchase any participating Nestlé products, which will entitle them to a contest form. They are then required to answer three simple questions and complete the form with the required details, attach a proof of purchase and mail it back to the Nestlé P.O Box address stated on the back of the form.
The contest is in line with Nestlé’s belief that a Company can do well, by doing good. For every submission of a valid entry form, Nestlé will donate RM1 with the proceeds going to selected orphanages. The total amount raised (with a maximum contribution of RM1 million) will be announced at the end of the campaign. By participating in the Bonanza, consumers will not only celebrate family togetherness when winning the family-themed prizes but also help those without family such as orphans, who will be one of the beneficiaries of the proceeds.
"As the leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness, not only are we focused on providing our consumers with healthy, tasty and nutritious food and beverage offerings; but also on the wellbeing of our consumers, and this includes providing them with the opportunity to spend quality time with their family members," said Mr. Alois Hofbauer, Region Head of Nestlé Malaysia and Singapore.
"The campaign is in line with our belief that good food is the foundation of good life and I am proud to say that Nestlé has successfully provided Malaysians with that for the past century and is committed to doing so for the next 100 years and beyond," added Hofbauer.
