Nestlé Malaysia today officially announced the much anticipated Malaysian launch of the very popular, exotic and highly sought-after taste - Kit Kat Green Tea - in a media ceremony held at Fahrenheit 88 in the city centre.
The heroes of the event were undoubtedly the ROBO-GTs. The star of Kit Kat Green Tea’s newly unveiled TV commercial, ROBO-GT is a tea master and the inventor of Kit Kat Green Tea, who has a spark of inspiration to combine Kit Kat and green tea in his tea house. ROBO-GT was also on hand to help celebrate the Japanese- style break at the event, and encouraged fans and members of the media to post their break with Kit Kat Green Tea using the hashtag #mybreak and #kitkatgreentea.
Nestlé’s Kit Kat Green Tea product has been all the rage in Japan since its launch, and the Malaysian launch promises even bigger experiences. Made with authentic Japanese Green Tea powder, the product is superior tasting with a special rich green tea flavour that vows to satisfy any taste bud.

True to the theme of ‘The Robots are Invading’, Malaysian shoppers can look forward to meeting ROBO-GT and his robot friends as they tour the city and make special appearances in various supermarkets and hypermarkets, bringing the Japanese break to shoppers in Malaysia.
Nestlé Malaysia’s Kit Kat Green Tea launch also incorporates Kit Kat’s "Celebrate the Breaker’s Break" campaign, the brand’s first worldwide campaign that commemorates the various types of breaks taken by breakers - Kit Kat consumers, with the hashtag #mybreak.
Providing a welcome respite from the heat of the city, Kit Kat Green Tea ice cream was also available at the event, providing the exotic green tea flavour with the cooling sensation of creamy ice cream.
There were even more reasons to rejoice on the day, as Nestlé celebrated the anniversary of the world famous Kit Kat brand, which was officially born 80 years ago, this month.
Each individual package of Kit Kat Green Tea is packed with the flavour and aroma of fresh-picked powdered green tea that will inspire a contemplative mood and help consumers take the Japanese inspired break they deserve during the day.
