Nestlé Unveils First E-Commerce Store in Malaysia

Nestlé Malaysia today made history as the first F&B Company in the country to launch a multi-brand wellness store in E-Commerce. The leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company kicked off this milestone achievement with a month-long E-Commerce wellness campaign called, ‘Wellness Together-Gather’.

Nestle Malaysia joined hands with leading Malaysian online retailers Lazada and 11street to set up its flagship E-Commerce stores.

Mr. Alois Hofbauer, Managing Director of Nestlé Malaysia, said, “Having been successful for over 100 years in Malaysia and 150 years around the world, Nestlé’s venture into E-Commerce reflects our commitment to innovate in order to continue winning the hearts and minds of Malaysians. In this day and age, digital platforms have become a vital part of people’s lives, offering greater convenience, accessibility and value.”

Nestlé’s E-Commerce flagship stores offers wellness solutions with nutrition-themed bundles and product discounts, which are developed based on insights from real searches and social data from Malaysian moms.

The ‘Wellness Together-Gather’ campaign which runs for four week in October 2016 offers over 260 product variants from 10 brands in Nestlé Malaysia, and 30 different promotion bundles with discounts of up to 45% on Lazada and 11street. Malaysians will get up to RM1 million worth of savings from online grocery shopping through this campaign.

We are very conscious of shifts in consumer trends, with an increasing number of Malaysians becoming more mindful of their food choices and opting for healthier options. Our ‘Wellness Together-Gather’ campaign is about bringing together the convenience of grocery shopping online, with information on improving your health, and those of your loved ones at your fingertips. During the launch, guests had the opportunity to get a taste of Nestlé’s E-Commerce shopping experience, immersing themselves in the online platform and learning wellness tips from Wellness Guru, Jojo Struys, and healthy cooking ideas from celebrity Chef Muluk. Following the campaign, Jojo and Chef Muluk will also be paying surprise visits to lucky Malaysian online shoppers to bring wellness to the comfort of their own homes.
