To Press Releases listPetaling Jaya,May 20, 2010 It recently came to our attention that a specific type of 100g glass jar of the Alta Rica, Alta
Rica Decaff, Cap Colombie, Suraya and Espresso soluble coffee range – specialty varieties
of Nescafé - could break during the delivery process to our customers and could therefore
contain small pieces of glass. However, Nestlé Malaysia only imports the Alta Rica range.
The quality and safety of our products is a non-negotiable priority for our Company.
Consequently, as a precautionary measure, we have decided to recall this specialty range.
Only products in this specific jar format are affected (illustration 1). Products in other jar
format are not affected (illustration 2). We will be changing the packaging format before we
reintroduce this coffee range to the market. We sincerely apologise to our consumers and
customers for any inconvenience.
Customers or consumers who are in possession of any of the abovementioned products,
please contact the Nestle Consumer Services Centre at 1-800-88-3433 for further
information on exchange of product or refund.
