We never stop looking at ways to make ice cream products that taste great, while improving the nutritional profile. This includes attention to nutritional labelling, portion size recommendations, and smaller pack options.
The sustainability of our products is also important. And we've seen how small changes can make a big difference - like switching to more energy efficient refrigerators across our industrial installations. Globally, we have spent more than CHF 10 million on eco-friendly freezers (that use only natural refrigerants), to store our frozen products. Nestlé has made a global commitment to buy only new ice cream freezers with natural refrigerants, everywhere in the world, where legally feasible.
Packaging is also on the agenda as our ice cream brands are part of Nestlé's ambition to make its packaging reusable or recyclable.
