This experience feels especially meaningful as we get to run along the iconic Drawbridge in Terengganu while wearing cultural accessories that reflect local identity. It is a unique way to celebrate both active living and culture at the same time, making the event even more memorable for us.”

ground activities
Participants enjoyed a variety of on-ground activities, including fitness challenges, interactive booths and fun family games promoting active living and togetherness.

Besides a 3km fun run, the fun-filled breakfast movement came with vibrant activities such as fitness challenges, interactive booths and on-ground activities designed to promote family engagement and bonding while the iconic MILO® Truck also sparked nostalgic childhood memories among many participants.

Alan Liong, 45 came with his hiking buddies, one of them being a retired teacher, 75 years of age. “We started as strangers through a hiking group a few years ago and over time, it turned us into close friends. We are appreciative of a fun event such as MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day which we are joining for the second time now. At our age, it’s not just about fitness anymore, it’s about friendship, consistency and supporting each other in staying active. Next year, we’re even planning to climb Mount Kinabalu together, which shows how active lifestyles can tighten our friendships over the years.”

Ericha Fitrih, 30, who brought her whole family to the event said,“This is actually our first time joining MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day as a whole family, from grandparents to parents, siblings and even my 19-month-old toddler. We wanted to do something different together instead of just staying at home. It’s not every day that three generations can share the same activity and today really made it special for us. The children enjoyed it, the older ones kept a comfortable pace and for us it’s really about creating memories and experiencing something healthy and fun together as a family.”
