Topline and profit performance reaffirm the Company's consistent focus on sales growth with financial discipline
Nestlé Malaysia sustained its growth momentum in the second quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q2 2026), with Turnover reaching RM1.81 billion, an increase of 8.7% compared to the corresponding quarter in 2025. Growth was supported by resilient domestic demand and steady export sales, reflecting the continued strength of the Company's portfolio of trusted brands and its ability to remain relevant across evolving consumer needs and consumption occasions.
For Q2 2026, Profit Before Tax rose to RM205.7 million while Profit After Tax increased to RM155.0 million. The improvement was supported by broad-based growth across categories, effective cost management and efficiencies across the value chain. Continued investment in innovation and brand building strengthened key categories such as coffee, nutrition and active lifestyle offerings under Malaysians’ favourite brands such as MILO, MAGGI, NESCAFÉ, and KITKAT, ensuring that the Company's portfolio remains relevant for consumers across all demographic segments.
For the first six months of the financial year ended 30 June 2026, the Company recorded a Turnover of RM3.69 billion, an increase of 7.5% compared to the corresponding period in 2025. Profit Before Tax and Profit After Tax for the first half increased to RM477.6 million and RM360.1 million respectively, reflecting a stronger first-half performance benefitting from growth leverage and supported by disciplined cost management and ongoing operational efficiencies.
In line with the Company’s commitment to delivering sustained shareholder value, the Board declared a first interim dividend of RM0.80 per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2026, up from RM0.70 per share in the corresponding period of 2025.
Mr. Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Malaysia, said, “Malaysian consumers are increasingly making deliberate choices, balancing nutrition, quality, convenience and quest for value as they cope with financial constraints in their daily lives. Our performance reflects that our brands continue to deliver on those expectations through the strength of our portfolio and our ability to stay relevant by responding quickly to evolving consumer needs while maintaining focus on long-term value creation.”
“Beyond delivering solid financial performance, we remain focused on strengthening the capabilities that will sustain profitable growth in the years ahead. This includes investing in our people’s talent and skills, advancing digitalisation and manufacturing excellence, and reinforcing Malaysia's position as a strategic Halal manufacturing and export hub for the Nestlé Group, while delivering a steady stream of relevant product innovations. These investments enhance our ability to compete in an increasingly dynamic environment.”
The Company also continued to advance its sustainability programmes, further progressing on plastic circularity and the strengthening of its Halal ecosystem. These efforts reflect Nestlé Malaysia’s focus on areas where its scale, local partnerships and deep-rooted presence can contribute meaningfully to consumers, communities and the nation.
Outlook
Mr. Aranols added, “As we enter the second half of 2026, our priorities remain clear: maintaining sales growth momentum via strengthening our core brands and scaling up innovations while expanding our presence across all commercial channels. While the external environment continues to be influenced by global uncertainties and evolving consumer expectations, we are confident in our ability to navigate these dynamics and deliver a robust set of financial results for FY2026. Simultaneously, we will continue to invest in the future by modernising our manufacturing and supply chain operations through digitalisation, automation and AI-enabled technologies, further enhancing efficiency, responsiveness and long-term competitiveness.”
