MAGGI® Sah Malaysia Campaign rallies Malaysians to join them in contributing 50,000 meal kits to B40 communities this Merdeka

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 AUGUST 2020

This August, MAGGI® launches the inaugural MAGGI® Sah Malaysia campaign with the aim of igniting optimism and spreading positivity across the country. Inspired by the way Malaysians have supported each other amid uncertain times, MAGGI® Sah Malaysia celebrates the resilience of the Malaysian community and rallies support for those in need.

As part of efforts to inspire more Malaysians to give back to communities in need, MAGGI® aims to donate a total of 50,000 meal kits to the B40 community across Malaysia through its MAGGI® Sah Malaysia campaign. This initiative to provide essential food items and create affordable and nutritious everyday meals to the lower income communities is in line with Nestlé Malaysia’s wider efforts to bring relief to vulnerable communities especially in these tough times.

In addition, in celebration of Hari Merdeka and Hari Malaysia, MAGGI® has collaborated with homegrown Malaysian celebrities including Sheila Rusly, Stacy Anam, Jenn Chia, Eina Azman, Zizan Razak and Bala Ganapathi William to launch a series of videos showcasing their fondest MAGGI® memories.

Make a difference with MAGGI® Sah Malaysia Shop & Reward Contest

From 1 August to 30 September 2020, by simply purchasing any MAGGI® product and participating in the MAGGI® Sah Malaysia contest via post or WhatsApp, consumers will stand a chance to win attractive prizes and help contribute to communities in need. For every 10,000 entries received, MAGGI® will donate 1,000 meal kits according to the participants’ regional states. MAGGI® aims to donate a total of 50,000 meal kits to those in need.

Finally, in support of local artists and the B40 community, MAGGI® will auction off today limited-edition canvas prints by creative brand Loka Made and hand-painted tiffins by budding artist Irene Goh of HappyJelly.Co. The proceeds of the auction will go to University Putra Malaysia’s Putra Community Nutrition Ambassador Programme (PUTRACNAP) with the aim of developing healthier B40 communities through nutrition empowerment.
