Business resilience paired with sustained efforts to uplift communities and advance sustainability initiatives

Petaling Jaya, October 28, 2025 - Nestlé Malaysia recorded a Turnover of RM1.76 billion for the quarter ended 30 September 2025, compared to RM1.45 billion in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The growth was driven by domestic sales, which benefitted from a low comparative base in the corresponding quarter of 2024. Additionally, export sales recorded double digit growth, confirming once again the global competitive strength of Nestlé Malaysia’s industrial footprint, as the Company saw increasing demand from international markets for its product portfolio, 100% Halal, proudly made in Malaysia by our Malaysian workforce.

Quarterly earnings saw Profit Before Tax at RM178 million, and Profit After Tax at RM114 million, showing progress versus the baseline comparative periods, both on a quarterly and on a Year-To-Date basis. In line with this performance, the Board of Directors declared a second interim dividend of RM0.60 per share.

Commenting on the results, Chief Executive Officer Juan Aranols said, "Our performance through the third quarter confirms the relevance of our commercial strategies and distribution capabilities, as well as, most importantly, the trust that Malaysians continue to place in our brands. We remain fully committed to uphold this trust by delivering on Malaysian’s high expectations of quality, taste and nutrition, as well as our commitment to elevate communities through the industry’s most comprehensive set of CSR initiatives, and sustainability efforts. With more than 112 years in Malaysia, our brands are deeply ingrained into the daily life of generations of Malaysians, and we work hard every day to continue deserving their trust, ensuring also that our products stay accessible and relevant for every new generation of consumers.”

In addition to multiple brand initiatives, Nestlé Malaysia maintains its strategic role as the Nestlé Group’s largest Halal manufacturing hub and a base for global innovation. This continues to enable new opportunities, supporting future growth and local employment. The latest example of this is the selection of Nestlé’s Sri Muda factory in Shah Alam as the main manufacturing site in Asia for NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate, one of the key strategic innovations of the Nestlé Group worldwide.

Throughout the third quarter, Nestlé Malaysia continued to make progress on its ESG and community support initiatives. The Company is honoured to support the Malaysian Government efforts to elevate the international recognition of Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO), in line with the company’s ESG commitments and as a founding member of the MSPO Impact Alliance.  Alongside this endeavour, Nestlé Malaysia engaged in a number of community impacting initiatives. Firstly, in partnership with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, the Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia and the Pantai Tok Jembal fishing community, Nestlé volunteers recovered ghost nets in Pulau Bidong, cleaned up the shoreline and supported the fishermen community. A few weeks ago, through the “Safe Water, Safe Communities” programme in collaboration with Global Peace Foundation, employee volunteers also built a new dam to improve access to clean water and hygiene for Orang Asli families in Kampung Lumut, Negeri Sembilan. Meanwhile, across the nation, Nestlé continued to allocate significant funds to food assistance programmes benefitting communities in need.

“Our ambition is to deliver long-term value for people, communities and the planet. We do this, as we have been doing for well over a century, through a portfolio of great tasting high quality Halal products, proudly Malaysian made, as well as through our relentless focus in driving societal betterment through our multiple ESG initiatives and programmes,” concluded Mr. Aranols.

Outlook
Mr Aranols commented, “As we advance to conclude the year, we reconfirm our earlier guidance. We will continue to build on our well established and deeply rooted presence in Malaysia to deliver long-term value through innovation, operational excellence and a deep understanding of Malaysian consumers and their evolving needs. We will continue to remain rigorous in optimising resources and creating value across every dimension of our value chain. We remain committed to honour the trust Malaysians place in our brands and products, always Halal-certified and proudly made in Malaysia, by Malaysians, for Malaysians."
