The partnership brings Malaysians the thrill of Formula 1® through exclusive promotions, interactive challenges and thousands of prizes!
Malaysia is officially joining the KitKat® Formula 1® celebration!
For over six decades, the brand tagline “Have a Break, Have a KitKat®” has been an invitation to pause, reset, and recharge. In Formula 1®, that same truth plays out at 200mph – a pit stop is the ultimate high-pressure break, a few vital seconds for a team to reset before heading back out to finish the race strong. KitKat® is bringing that exact mindset to all Malaysians, reminding us of the importance of taking a break to do our own ‘pit stops’ amidst our fast-paced daily routines.
This shared philosophy is why KitKat® has partnered with Formula 1®. Celebrating the 90th anniversary of KitKat® and the 75th anniversary of Formula 1®, this multi-year collaboration unites two massive fanbases, bringing engaging fan-centric experiences to select Grands Prix globally throughout 2026. As this high-octane celebration accelerates across the region, Nestlé Malaysia is proud to bring this exciting activation to local fans.
Anchoring the KitKat® Formula 1® (F1®) campaign in Malaysia is the launch of immersive consumer roadshows and a range of limited-edition F1® chocolates, giving fans the chance to win an all-inclusive trip to the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2026 – one of the most sought-after race weekends in Asia – as part of a nationwide activation that brings the intensity of elite motorsport to all Malaysians.
“Formula 1 ® has grown into one of the most compelling cultural phenomena of our time, attracting a new generation of fans across Malaysia and the region. Bringing this partnership to life locally is a natural extension of KitKat®’s purpose – to remind people to pause, recharge, and savour the moment. We want every Malaysian, whether they have followed F1® for years or are just discovering it, to feel the excitement of the sport and find their own break worth taking,” said Juan Aranols, CEO of Nestlé Malaysia.
To celebrate the launch, KitKat® is bringing the F1® experience to fans through a series of roadshows at multiple locations across Klang Valley. Fans can get behind the wheel on racing simulators and experience the thrill of the racing grid.
Beyond the activation, every KitKat® purchase can now be an entry into the F1 action. With the contest already underway, it only takes buying a minimum of RM10 worth of participating KitKat products and uploading the receipt (via the contest microsite or through WhatsApp) to stand a chance to win from over 1,000 prizes throughout the 12-week period, including exclusive KitKat® F1® co-branded merchandise giveaways at the roadshows nationwide. One Grand Prize winner will take home a full FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2026 experience for two – from the roar of the engines at Marina Bay to a stay at a five-star hotel in the heart of Singapore – while five First Prize winners will each receive a pair of 3-Day Pit Grandstand tickets to the same electrifying race weekend.
The limited-edition product range is available nationwide at hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores, as well as online via the KitKat Official Store on Shopee and Lazada – grab yours while stocks last.

About Nestlé KitKat®
Created in 1935, KitKat® was first known as Rowntree Chocolate Crisp. Two years later, the name has changed to KitKat®. In 1988, KitKat® became part of Nestlé range of confectionery products. It grew to be the no. 1 chocolate brand in Malaysia, enjoyed by young and old as a light snack. Today, it is exported to more than 14 countries globally. KitKat® is 100% Halal and is produced locally at Nestlé’s Halal-certified facility in Chembong, Negeri Sembilan.
“Have a break, have a KitKat®” has become a popular phrase, aptly describing the enjoyment of the chocolate-coated wafers whenever one needs to take a break amidst a busy and stressful moment.
Nestlé’s KitKat® is the first global confectionary brand to be made from 100% sustainable cocoa sourced under the Nestlé’s Cocoa Plan. The brand has pledged to be carbon neutral by 2025. KitKat® aims to reduce the emissions generated through the sourcing of its ingredients, the manufacturing of the product and its distribution by more than 50% as part of its plan.
