Strong sales growth, disciplined margin management, increased dividend

Petaling Jaya, February 25, 2026 - Nestlé Malaysia delivered a turnover of RM1.68 billion for its fourth quarter ended 31 December 2025, a 14.2% increase vs. the comparable quarter of 2024. This robust performance was driven by double digit growth in both domestic and export markets. The results reflect the Group’s continued focus on keeping its brands relevant and closely attuned to the evolving preferences of Malaysian consumers, actively capturing demand opportunities and staying true to its promise of Good Food, Good Life.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter increased to RM160.4 million, while Profit After Tax (PAT) rose to RM125.5 million, in net progression vs the comparable quarter of 2024. This was supported by strong topline growth coupled with ongoing measures to optimise margins and deliver operational efficiencies, as part of the Group’s actions to offset higher commodity costs and to internally generate the funds needed to drive strategic brand investments and deliver broad based market share gains. These gains were also enabled by excellence in sales execution and by consistently focusing on optimising the entire value chain to serve best the preferences and evolving expectations of Malaysian consumers.

For the full financial year ended 31 December 2025, the Group’s sales grew to RM6.88 billion, up by 10.5% compared to 2024, with strong domestic demand throughout the year alongside with double-digit expansion in export sales. This reflects again the global competitiveness of the Group’s 100% Halal-certified product portfolio, proudly made in Malaysia, by Malaysians.

Full-year PBT grew to RM700.4 million, while PAT increased to RM513.0 million, driven by the combined effect of solid revenue growth and disciplined management of all the costs along the value chain, including the transformational impact derived from rapid digitalisation and adoption of AI enabled solutions to increased agility, efficiency and speed in decision making.

On the back of this strong performance and in line with its commitment to delivering shareholder value, the Board of Directors declared a third interim dividend of RM0.90 per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. This brings the total dividend per share for 2025 to RM2.20 per share, compared to RM1.79 per share in 2024, representing a 29% increase year‑on‑year.

Mr. Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Malaysia, said, “Our performance in the fourth quarter confirms the sustained growth momentum through the year and it reflects once again the strong connection and relevance of our brands with all Malaysians. The solid growth in our export business further confirms the competitiveness of our Malaysian manufacturing footprint and it remains a focus geography for the Nestlé Group’s strategic investments, as demonstrated by the choice of our Sri Muda factory in Shah Alam to be a key production site for NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate, a key innovation for the Nestlé Group worldwide.”

“We continue to be guided by our mission to deliver great-tasting, high-quality, safe and nutritious products that are 100% Halal certified and remain accessible and relevant for the Rakyat. We deliver this mission with a great sense of responsibility, ensuring that our approach to business is beneficial to the people, the community and planet. We will continue to build on this foundation by investing behind our brands, and on our people, and through sustained investments in manufacturing and distribution capabilities, as well as in digitalisation.”

Indeed, Nestlé Malaysia continues to serve as the Nestlé Group’s largest Halal manufacturing hub and an important centre for innovation. In addition to the above-mentioned NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate launch, several new products were launched through the year covering multiple categories across all consumer segments and building on the trends of convenience, nutrition and healthier lifestyles.

On the ESG front, Nestlé Malaysia completed its flagship reforestation programme, Project RELeaf, with three million trees planted nationwide addressing degraded ecosystems and contributing to biodiversity conservation. Adding to its earlier Project RiLeaf initiative which concluded in 2020 and saw another one million trees planted in Sabah, Nestlé Malaysia’s effort represents the largest private-sector reforestation initiative in the country and is set to continue under an expanded Nestlé RELeaf2030 programme to be launched in the coming months.

In addition, the Group continued with its multiple community outreach initiatives. Some examples include the MAGGI Wanita Cukup Berani programme empowering over 4,000 women to date with entrepreneurial skills and their ability to create revenue streams for them and their families. The Group also contributed to the flood relief programme during the monsoon season to vulnerable communities, partnering with the Malaysian Red Crescent and Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia. The NESCAFÉ Youth entrepreneurship competition saw again scores of university students developing their creative, business and entrepreneurial skills, recording the largest participation to date with over 4,000 students.

“These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to always support Malaysians in meaningful ways, especially those in the community in greater need. It is part of our responsibility as a company that has grown together with the nation since 1912,” said Mr. Aranols.

Outlook
Mr. Aranols commented, “Looking ahead in 2026, we see Malaysia’s economy performing with resilience within a global economic and geopolitical context that remains highly dynamic and volatile. Within this context, Nestlé Malaysia is well-positioned to deliver another year of growth, with solid financial and operational fundamentals. We are confident to deliver another year of consistent financial returns to our shareholders and sustained societal value creation for all our stakeholders. We will continue to focus on strengthening our brands, drive relevant innovation and deliver strong execution across commercial channels. This will be funded by disciplined cost and margin management and by adapting our organisation and ways of working to the opportunities offered by digitalisation, automation and the adoption of AI solutions where relevant.”

”Guided by our Creating Shared Value approach and building on our positive momentum, we will continue to deliver high-quality, Halal-certified products that are proudly made in Malaysia by Malaysians to serve the diverse needs of consumers, alongside advancing our ESG commitments to positively impact communities and the environment, helping to shape a more sustainable future for the nation,” concluded Mr. Aranols.
