Amazing Grilled Portobello Mushrooms & Cheddar Cheese

Veggie Scrambled Eggs with Wholemeal Toasts

Ingredients:

600g Portobello mushrooms, cleaned
50ml Olive oil
15g Garlic clove, finely chopped
5g Thyme
160g Sliced cheddar cheese
60g Onion, finely chopped
Freshly ground pepper & salt
Black pepper

Method:

  1. Mix the oil, garlic, thyme, onion & seasoning together.
  2. Brush the mushrooms with the oil mixture.
  3. Place mushrooms onto a gas grill or BBQ and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Brush again with the oil mixture and then place the cheddar cheese slice on top (stalk side up).
  5. Cook a further 1 minute until cheese is melted and serve.

Get your kids involved!
